Movie Scene Moment.....The Naked And Famous - Young Blood

While out Saturday night dancing like a filthy animal with some pretty amazing people, I came across this song. Or i guess my good friend Pete came across it by scream/singing in a high pitched voice, "Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah" Impersonating the singer on the chorus lol.

For awhile i kept hearing this song. It would come on while i was out and i'd be like, "OOO, I like this!" Thinking it was Passion Pit or even MGMT for a good while.... i never found out who it really was and never downloaded it!

So while out for a friend's birthday bash dancing our hearts out to some crazy dance music, we notice some super cool and trendy kids looking at us like we were crazy drunken fools! We ofcourse thought this was hysterical and kept dancing all over the place, even bumping into them as they walked passed! HaHa

Ya ever have one of those moments where ya think, "Man this totally feels like a movie scene kinda moment" ? Well i know it sounds really cheesey but when this song came on, all of us dancing, singing and laughing together.... It totally felt like a scene right out of a movie and The Naked And Famous singing "Young Blood" was our soundtrack to that very moment.

This song is so fun! makes me think about warm weather and summer, and i night to never forget. :)

Today's song is just plain adorable! It seems that my love for Ingrid Michaelson keeps growing and growing!!! I mean she's amazing! Her lyrics are great and her songs are so cute, easy to listen to! Def. Puts me in a good mood - even if they are sappy lovey dovey songs.

My favorite album is "Be Ok." This song, "You and I", is actually on that album!

I seem to find that when i listen to Ingrid I dream about being able to sing just like her! ( I wish! ). Ingrid is super cute! Love her!!

Florence + The Machine - Cosmic Love

Boy do i love this song and the album it's off of!
Florence + The Machine's "Cosmic Love" off of the album Lungs is such a great song. The first time i heard of Florence + The Machine was their debut song "Kiss With A Fist." I fell in love, with it's beat and kick ass lyrics!!!

Her voice is so powerful, I love how her voice and sound doesn't sound like any other group out there right now! I was thinking that this may not be my favorite song off the album, but then again i don't know if i could choose one!!!

Paul McCartney & Wings - Silly Love Songs

I had forgotten all about this song!!!! I love me some Paul McCartney!!
Last year when Glee had re-done this song for their Valentine's episode, I fell in love with this catchy V-Day song all over!

I'm not a huge lover of the Holiday.... I'll be the first to admit that yes, this might be in part to my single status at the moment but it is kinda a stupid holiday when ya think about it... People who are in love spend way too much money on loved ones and people who aren't in love have to live through a day of painful reminders of non love and have themselves a pitty party!

Paul McCartney's "Silly Love Songs" has always made me think of V-Day, but it's a "make me happy" V-Day song! I played it on my car ride to work this morning and sang to it at the top of my lungs! Trying to get myself in the Valentine's Day mood is tough, I feel like the grinch that stole Valentine's Day sometimes! HaHa This song definitely puts me in a better mood.

So for those who are pitty partying it up or for those that are silly in love, this song works for both sides! Enjoy

The Magic Numbers Perform Love Me Like You

I love music, Period. lol You can probably tell this by my musical blog.... HaHa. I love discovering new music, especially music that has a great, catchy beat. I recently spent WAY too much of my hard earned money on ITunes and came across The Magic Numbers.

I have never heard of them until now, but I'm in love!!! Where have they been all my life! The song above is my favorite so far, it's called "Love Me Like You." The video i found is from Glastonbury in 2007 but still soooo good!
Please give this song a listen, i can assure you you'll fall in love as i have.!! And who could pass up a rock band with some chicks in it?!?!? Haha
